Dressed in hot pink athletic shorts, sneakers, and a plain sweatshirt, she responded to visitors’ questions like an athlete answering reporters in post game interviews: slouchy, briefly, and with sly smiles. Periodically, she drank dramatically from her water bottle and sprayed herself on the forehead. A shoebox that sat in front of her table asked visitors to “Take a zine, ask a question,” offering audience members a written explanation of KNEES and some instructions on how to interact with the artist.

MC hopes to develop this character and repeat the performance in the future.
